Download DFMT2
Choose what you play on. On Windows, a 240 KB launcher downloads everything; on your phone, use the Android app. You need an account – if you don't have one yet, register here.
Windows (PC)
- Download and run the launcher. No zip, no separate installer.
- Choose a folder – a DFMT2 folder and a desktop shortcut are created.
- The launcher downloads the game (about 2 GB), then click Start Game. After that, every update comes automatically.
It doesn't need administrator rights and doesn't write to Windows folders. If you already have a DFMT2 folder from the old patcher, the new launcher finds it and only replaces the launcher – it won't download the game again.

- Download the APK, then open it. If your phone asks, allow installation from unknown sources.
- On first launch the app downloads the game (about 3.9 GB) – best done over Wi-Fi.
- Log in with your account and play. The app tells you by itself when there's a new version, which installs right over the old one.

Frequently asked questions
Windows shows an “unknown publisher” / SmartScreen window
This appears for programs from any small, independent publisher; it's not a virus. Click More info, then the Run anyway button. The launcher doesn't ask for administrator rights.
My antivirus flags the launcher or the game as suspicious
False alarm: the game's own launcher downloads and writes files, which some antivirus programs consider suspicious. Add the DFMT2 folder to the exceptions and restart the launcher.
I already have a DFMT2 folder from the old patcher – do I need to download everything again?
No. Start the new launcher, and when choosing a folder, point it to your existing DFMT2 folder. It only replaces the launcher; the game files are kept and updated.
Android won't let me install the APK
Settings → Apps → your browser (e.g. Chrome) → Install unknown apps → allow. Then open the downloaded APK again. You need a 64-bit phone with Android 5.0 or newer.
How much data does the game download?
About 2 GB on Windows and about 3.9 GB on Android on first launch. After that it only downloads updates, which are usually just a few MB.
Which account do I log in with?
The same one you registered on the website. One account, the same character on both PC and phone.
